Sardines on toast
Just rediscovered sardines on toast, a nice combination but something I hated as a kid. Are there any other lunch time snacks that I may have forgotten about and am missing out on?

Re: Sardines on toast
I have also just started eating sardines on toast again...........doctors orders!
My cholesterol level is a little high, so oily fish is the order of the day. I'd forgotten how nice they are with a liberal dousing of vinegar

Re: Sardines on toast
Mmmm fish. I love fish
If you guys like sardines try the little rectangular tins they come in (i think the brand is Princess) as they do them in diffrent sauces. I'm not usualy a fan of tinned, flavoured fish but these are absolutley yummy. have em on toast if thats your thing but i usually just make a small salad and throw a tin of these on it. I love the ones in a spicy tonatoe sauce. Just went to look in the cupboard as i made myself hungery typing this and only got one can left anf its just sardined in oil...but hey they'll do!
