Default Could the UK work with two different time zones?

From an article on the BBC news web site, which is talking about moving our time in line with europe, so more light at night which I think would make difference.

So what do you think?

Stupid stupid idea, I will never see any daylight for most mornings, currently get up and leave for work at 5:30. Those of us who use the mornings will miss the daylight

I personally would love the extra hour to be added on and it would make summer brilliant. I can also see why others would hate it.
Pros and cons as with everything, but personally I'm all for the change.

I'd prefer the extra hour in the evening, spent sitting in the garden with a cold drink, than it being a bit lighter in the morning while I'm commuting to work in the car...

If Scotland doesn't want to then don't make them do it, USA and Europe work just fine with the same land mass and different zones, they can have the extra daylight while eating their porridge in the morning rather than getting lathered in the mid afternoon...

Tim hasn't seen the light

Of course we should do it. Scotland can have their own time zone, they have their own Parliament, and I think we can trust the Scottish Parliament to adjust the clocks.
