Default Best bike for £1K? Friendly competition for the Org.

I'm running a light hearted competition on my Youtube channel so if you're interested, have a watch and join in. All the details are included in the description box.

If there's enough interest, I'll run an individual one for the Org and see what I can come up with for a prize.

4 minutes, 55 seconds is where it starts.

But for some riders that's all it is. Whether it be their bike or their kit, it has to look right. Personally I couldn't give a crap, cos I'm looking at the road not what I'm wearing or riding.

Why wouldn't you want to look half decent on your bike though? If you were after new leathers/textiles and you found what you wanted, quality vs price wise, but it was in pink, and a more subtle colour was available within a fortnight, surely you'd wait the fortnight right?

I think anyone who doesn't care about how their bike looks, their gear or personal hygiene is halfway to being on crimewatch.

It was more some sarcasm about "the city look". I prefer my leathers with plenty armor and tarmac rash prevention.
