Default the joy of tech support

I've done time in tech support...including trying to help someone that hadn't switched the machine on (I set the bar too high for that one). So, to all tech supporters out there...

not the first and not the last..

best one i saw was first day at college. someone who obviously had never switch on a computer let alone used one picked the mouse up and started waving it at the screen. this very same person turned out to be very talented and gained a BSc in networking. its not a joke. bit i found strange is that i was doing a fast track (half the time) HNC that required a certain skill level. lucky the lecturer took pity....

yes my instant thought was he was taking the pizz but he wasn't. my next thought after that was "this is going to be easy if they let folk like that in" and it was.
