Slicks?

Hi, This is probably a silly question, but, are slicks allowed on trackdays?

I'm not planning on getting any, but always wondered?

i thought thats the only place they are allowed you cant use them on the road.

No, lots of people use slicks in the fast group and some in inters. Doesn't always seem to help them though!

i would personally poke the person in the eye with a stick if they complained about me using a set of track specific tyre's on a track.

But Race exhausts & timing gear are frowned on at tracks so not a stupid question at all.

so would i havnt actually done a trackday yet but in principal alone if you buy track specific tyre's you'd have hoped you could use them on a track

I have with a particular track day company when they overbook and stick you in any group!

Slicks are allowed - I have a couple of good pairs here in 190 and 120 sizes, yours for 50 quid a set.
