Early Morning Idiots
Hi All.
Now the colder weather is here it seems many car drivers think they can clear a fist size area of their windscreen and side window of condensation and drive like this. I think these drivers are the worst kind of offenders on the road, after people who would use their vehicle as a weapon. What can we do about these bloody idiots. I have seen at least 1 every morning since the beggining of last week and 3 this morning. They are putting every other road users life in danger. I bet even if we took photgraphs and sent them to the Police they wouldn't be able to do anything. Tim. |

Re: Early Morning Idiots
I'm am the worst offender.....I start from home with a visor thats clear.....and suddenly it goes all foggy, open visor its me specs, then its me visor and then its me specs.Dread traffic lights cause then I have to ride away with them perched on the end of my nose
does that make me an idiot rider?? I don't intentionally put others in danger. Some people don't do it on purpose you know. Should imagine its the same for a cager as it is for me( I don't drive so don't know)

Re: Early Morning Idiots
dizzy: can you ride with the visor part open, but low?
I found that closing the visor to within a fingertip of closed stopped it from fogging my glasses up too badly. Once I get underway, mine clear within 100yds or so. The visor itself is one that takes pinlock inserts, which don't seem to fog until I get in the house, at which point the heat fogs it up outside the visor. The one tip I did find useful which applies to cage or visor - the fogging is caused by a temperature difference between the sides of the glass, so put a warm jumper on and have the window open a bit to minimise it in the box. |

Re: Early Morning Idiots
i ride with the visor open a little, more often than not. Don't like it closed unless on M-way. still steams up though---must be hot stuff!!!
I'll be riding along and thinking-funny it wasn't this foggy before. End up opening visor right up at lights other wise its hold yer breath time. kinda got used to it now, got it down to a fine art, still bloody annoying though
