Just had one of those realisations
that make's you realise you're getting old.
A baby born the same year that the film Independence Day was released will be legally allowed to drink this year. 18 years ago! I saw it in the cinema.

Re: Just had one of those realisations
I had two 16 year old work experience girls left with me this morning. By 12.45 I had to beg my boss to please take them away again as they were driving me round the bend with all their jabbering, squealing, taking selfies, not being able to construct a sentence without using the word 'like' at least 5 times and just being generally annoying. And these are supposedly the intelligent ones.
Am I getting old or are the youth of today really just more irritating than they used to be?

Just had one of those realisations
Quote:
If say the latter, you don't have to be old or older to see it. Farkin' selfies and duck faces. I fear for the future of this country and the human race in general. However I do occasionally have hope, like the story of the teenage kiwi who built a rally spec car in effectively his shed and it will whip most supercars. Good effort! But back to the op, I have moments like that a fair bit, although I am not quite as experienced in life.

Re: Just had one of those realisations
I like to think of it more as years drinking experience. In that measure I am 12.
