Alternative grab rails for a Curvy?
My wife has small hands and has trouble gripping the grab rail cos its so chunky. I've seen the renntec sports racks but ideally just wanted a handle.
Does anyone know if a handle from another bike fits? Cheers Colby |

Re: Alternative grab rails for a Curvy
I sympathise with your wife.................Pete reckons I have the hands of a 5 year old
I don't actually use the grab rail anyway, so the size of it isn't a factor, but we also have a renntec rack, and that would be really nice and small for your wife to hold on to. No idea about other grab rails, sorry.

Re: Alternative grab rails for a Curvy
no idea about an alternative, but grab rails are often referred to as sissy bars by those of US persuasion.

Re: Alternative grab rails for a Curvy
don't know if any other grab rails from otrher bikes fit but if you really don't want a rack on it how about one of those ventura things? you can get a grab rail to fit them or how about getting a local welding/fabricatgion place to make you one up? shouldn't thnk it would cost to much for thatr?
if not go with the rack and take it off when the wife isn't on board it's only 2 bolts that hold it on

my missus loves mine... and they have a better feel for the rider too. ( we are talking about a belt which goes around the rider which the pillion hold on to.. non of you filthy minded stuff )

Re: Alternative grab rails for a Curvy
My girlfriend has exactly this issue, was thinking about asking this on here, so is the general consensus that love handles work?
