Cracked Fuel Cap Collar
Hi,
fitted a new petrol cap to my bike the other day and after fitted noticed a crack in the collar around the actually cap. Would this leak fuel of any kind as it doesnt seem to affect where the actually cap locks over the tank?? Cheers Mason |

Re: Cracked Fuel Cap Collar
If the crack is where circled above then it's not part of the seal or cap itself, it's the bracket that holds the cap to the tank, which isn't airtight anyway.
Should be fine, but if you've just bought the part, may be worth taking it up with the seller if the part was new. Jambo
