Double glazing saleman who rings my doorbell.

He has walked past two double glazed PVC framed windows to ring the bell on a PVC front door. He knows he is wasting both his and my time. So WTF did he have to ring my bell and disturb my conference call.

Sorry people, there is someone at my front door. Disturbing my dog. Can we take a 5 minute break. Looks really professional.

Every dog thinks that everything that happens in the house and garden is theirs, very territorial animals are dogs. A cat would just sit and calmly watch burglars and hope they left the food cupboard open. I did see a video of a cat in USA that attacked a dog that was biting a young boy, just came from nowhere like a spitting missile, the dog never stood a chance, dogs are no match for cats in the truly focused and vicious department.

FOUND THE VIDEO - what a cat

Laryngitis. I still have the remnants of my Abelio Greater Anglia cold, mainly just a cough now, but I did a lot of talking in an interview yesterday. Of course I cannot talk at all today as a result. Not too much of an issue as none of the recruiters ever pick up the phone on a Friday...

At the till in my local Lidl, woman finishes packing her shopping, but instead of handing her cash to the check out girl, she throws it on the counter near the till. OK I think

I pay for my items & walk outside, the same woman's parked her Jag outside the store, but not in one of the bays, but in a place that's marked as a place you DON'T park There were free spaces

So I watch her drive off in her nice black Jag, with one headlight out. Am I going to flag her down and tell her about the headlight? Feck off, you seem like someone I don't want to help, woman or not

My cats scarper whenever anyone comes to the front door with one exception... the Ocado van.

I don't use Ocado but they deliver cat food on behalf of Fetch.

Just this minute had a delivery and both cats looked out of the window to check I was going to carry the bag in. Even though it's double wrapped in thick plastic and has no smell they will still have a go at getting it open if I leave it in the living room. They wouldn't do that for a delivery of baked beans or clothes. I think they hack my emails so they know what is in the parcel.

Are you sure the packaging has no smell.
I know a man whose business included developing pet food packaging that smells attractive to animals so they go crazy when you buy that brand.

Seriously, I can't make this sort of madness up.

No it's the outer Ocado wrapper they have a go at.

Anyway this morning one of ten who doesn't normally come upstairs at night started squeaking and jumped on the bed at 4.55. Five minutes later the kitchen timer went off downstairs so I had to get up to switch it off. How did he know it was going to go off? I must have knocked it while cooking last night. That didn't actually wake me up. Insomnia at 3-am had already done that.
