Re: HELP fitting GSX-R rear shock
i found it easyer just unbolting the rear sub frame that way you have loads of room 2 do it.
also put the lower bolt in 1st then lift the rear wheel and the shock will just slide in 2 the top mount thats on the frame then just pop your top bolt in it. |

Re: HELP fitting GSX-R rear shock
so the shock is basically in now and just the slight problem of the undertray/battery box part now???
if so then wot i done was move the hole tray back a bit you have 2 drill 4 new holes 1 each side of the battery where the ones already are at the minute only take them closer 2 the front of the battery box and then at the very back of the sub-frame thers 2 threaded holes which nothing seems 2 go into use them 2 hole the rear of the tray up. you may need 2 trim a few other bits of plastic of here and ther so it is 100% again feel free 2 PM me if you have any problems. |

Re: HELP fitting GSX-R rear shock
oh and another way you could do it is the way alot of people do it which is cut a wake of the battery box and lift the battery up a bit.
thers a thread with a few pics of this done if you do a search. |
