Easily done, if it's wet on a car park (slippy?) on a little 125 on their skinny little crap tyres (ice??) then what chance do you have?

I hate the EU and I hate this government.

We don't give a crap about him. We suggest people spend more money and more time 'learning' to take a corner much (more sharply then they would if they were riding normally) too fast for the conditions on a test made harder for the sole purpose of reducing the number of motorcyclists on the road.

I've heard that someone else highsided as well, it's not going down well at all apparently.

It is ridiculous we have to conform to the EU rule shafting 80% of our test centres.

Ridiculous.

Seems common sense is certainly not a feature included in new testing standards.

It is supposed to be fairly easy though, I have been to watch people doing it at the local centre near me in netherfield all I saw doing it seem to breeze it.

Apparently the causes of ALL of the crashes so far have been candidates breaking.....which you just cant do when carrying out a avoidance swerve like that......and statistics show that panicing and breaking is one of the biggest causes of accidents in new riders.

and I would agree, if they cant do it on their test then on the road they will become another one of these statistics.

Better training required.

I agree .... that is excatly what I did when I had my off. OK I didnt swerve but after 9 months of riding I thought I was the bees knees, gravel took me away and I panicked and breaked and off I went.

I would have rather come off on the test and learnt a valuable lesson.

I do disagree with the speed, surely it could be reduced according to road conditions as you certainly would ride according to conditions.

Ouch!
It's stupid that you have to ride exactly the same, wet or dry. Not a good thing to teach new riders IMHO
