Shiny!

I've tried the Muc-Off bike cleaner and it was OK, but for me Scottoiler FS365 is better for shifting crud. Spray it on, let it soak in for 5 minutes or so, then use a low-pressure garden hose and the muck literally just slides off.

I've never thought of using 365 as a cleaner. I'll have to give that a try.

I was given some years ago and tried it as a protective film and I thought much the same. I think it also washes off so you had to keep applying it too.

Yes, it's meant to be constantly re-applied whenever the bike gets wet / dirty, it isn't a barrier protectant like ACF or XCP.

I've found that a spray over the bike before washing it really shifts the muck. I think the slight oiliness of the spray loosens the grit and mud.

SOTD: Finally able to start training course on 7th, have a job interview on wednesday which depending on being successful + passing the course - could be back working very soon.

GOTD: counter terrorism check forms are an absolute shambles to fill in

i have found that the best cleaners are
no nonsense heavy duty degreaser from screwfix.
Fenwicks motorhome cleaner concentrate.


all the fenwicks stuff is good and the bobby dazzler is superb.
