Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Anybody fitted one?
What do you think of the fit and quality? We've had two Airblade screens and they are always under tension, so looking for an alternative. Fank Oo

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Is that the one that has the wee raised edge on the rim to deflect flies from your visor?

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
I don't think so, no, that sounds more like a flip screen. We're looking at the double bubble one.

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
I've got a power bronze double bubble on my SV, ( I cant remember if its an airblade one or not I think it might be ) I've been really pleased with it, fitted OK and it looks nice to. Its really good a huge improvement over the standard one and the finish has stood up well to general wear and tear to.
My SV is buried at the back of my garage so I cant really get the bike out, I could take some pics if that helps though ?

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Fabrri double bubbles are good, nice finish, good wind protection. However I wouldn't go for the very dark tint, when in a racing crouch on track days I can hardly see through it!

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Thanks Fizz, that's very kind of you to offer but we don't want to put you to any trouble. Do you have any old pics of it fitted?
It's good to hear that the fit was good and it stood up to wear and tear though. We can't complain about the finish of our current screen, it's just the fit we're really not happy with.

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
I have a double bubble on, but I'm going back to standard and try that for a while (the DB was on the bike when I got it). I find with the DB my head gets knocked about quite a lot with the wind buffeting.

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
The only place where the fit is a little poor is up near where the mirror mounts are its not flush there like the original screen is and theres a small gap, but I just ignore it now !
I've got a couple of pics but they dont show it very well, heres one Mine is the yellow SV in this pic. and from another angle

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Thanks Fizz
Yes, it's the fit by the mirrors that's the problem with ours, but it's so bad in our case it's actually started to crack the screen and the fairing mount holes. Think we'll probably give Powerbronze a try. Tim, we want an iridium screen, and unfortunately, Fabbri don't do those Darren, Pete thinks that the original screen is better in some respects too, but we love the look of an iridium screen

Re: Powerbronze Airflow Screens
Can't you get a normal screen in iridium?
