Every plug I could get to I took apart and cleaned with aircraft spec electrical cleaner and coated with electrical grease.hopefully that will stop future issues.

Get a can of ACF50.It's the Dog's Danglies.I sometimes can snaffle a can on Aircraft facilities I've worked on but it still doesn't work out expensive if shop-bought as it lasts a long time.

My local Motorcycle shops now carry it.I also use it on my Rad hoses as it prevents them drying out and decaying and also on their clips etc.

Why don't you just marry a can of ACF-50?

But seriously, I've also been a big fan of the stuff for over a decade. At the end of October I used to paint it onto all the chrome and bare alloy of my old GT380 (mudguards, wheel rims, fork sliders etc etc) and just leave it until the end of March without washing it off.

It would look 'orrible with all the salt and road muck caked on from winter rides, but after the spring wash-off, the chrome always came up immaculately, absolutely zero pitting. And it did kill existing corrosion too.

You can get a civil partnership now even if the ACF-50 is female and you are male (and vice-versa ).

I always say if something works why not let people know about it, some of the newer members may not know about the magic of ACF-50.

No self respecting bottle of ACF-50 would get involved with such an inferior thing as a can of WD-40.
