Default 2005 ZX6R 636 C1H track/road bike - £2200

2005 636 up for grabs, this is a VERY reluctant sale.

it was a cat C write off from nearly new (just under 2000 miles)
i have the original bill of sale and the receipt from when i got it.
this bike has all the numbers and can go back on the road with an 05 plate for around £80 through DVLA.
it had heavy plastic damage, a small dink in the swing arm and some scratches on the chassis, these are minimal.
it has full track fairings/seat unit/under tray.
standard showa suspension. this is set up perfectly for me.
goodridge front lines, standard rear (i never used the rear brake)
slipper clutch as standard.
awesome radial brakes.
power commander 3
remus can that comes just under 102db without a db killer.
two track day old Metzler racetecs (have enough for another 2)
geared down suitable for most circuits.
R&G's
comes with a dark double bubble screen (not pictured) as the one in the pics belongs to my road bike.
the oil/filter has religiously been changed every 2 track days (this is a must)
still has the standard instruments.

ns engine case is well scraped (seen in top pic) from the last owner low siding at pembry, he used the bike only a couple of times.
this bike has spent most of its life in the garage and done more miles in the back of my van

the bike has a copy of my road bike map installed, this was dyno'd for a yoshimura but it is very close.
being picky i would put it on a dyno to set it up but i never had the time.

as i said, this is a very reluctant sale but i still have my road bike to use on track.

a straight £2200 is well worth it, no offers

PM me for details.

i have had a lot of questions about where the reserve price is.
its not that far away, please dont ask me. thanks.
My pet hate is reserve prices. Even worse than listings being withdrawn when sold privately.

Gld to see it's reached reserve now.

+1 I always just start auctions at lowest price I want and leave it at that.

Why would it cost £80 with DVLA? Just apply for logbook which is £25. Unless it has been somehow de-registered so you do not need to SORN it every year?

It's either £70 or £80 to re register it with DVLA on an '05 plate.

If you read the ad then you'll see it was a cat c write off.

Reserve price was put on because we don't want it to go for stupid money yet if we started bidding at the minimum we'd accept then no one thinks they're getting a bargain.

Speedplay it's an awesome bike and to be honest I'd much rather not sell it but needs must and as neither me nor the other half are going to be doing any track days for the foreseeable future then it's kinda pointless holding on to it.

Now I'll just have to get my finger out and get the VFR400 sorted and tracked instead lol

Chris, cheers for that but I've already spoken to the DVLA and have been told by them that it's either £70 or £80, I forget which it is.

Trust me speedplay, if I could get away with selling the VFR instead of the 636 then I would, it's just not worth any where near as much as the 636
