Default BMW won't be amused

This is a Vietnamese website showing pictures of a new Chinese bike. It's a 450 cc twin but it looks like a direct copy of the BMW S1000RR

https://motosaigon.vn/soc-voi-s450rr...rung-quoc.html

Note the bike's logo which shares (more than) a passing resemblance to the BMW propeller symbol

Wow! I never knew it was supposed to be a propeller, I'd always assumed the designer just liked cake.

I fell into the propeller myth trap again. It was the standard pub quiz type of question but when that busy-body interweb got involved it was disproved:

Good old Chinese government approved sales tactics - rip off anything you want and we will impose sky high import taxes on the original making it an impossibility for anyone to afford anything but the clone then instruct the court to rule it's not a copy but a proper Chinese product....lol

Bet there'll be a difference in performance though

Anyone buying tha, probably couldn't afford the BMW anyway. Not as if BMW will lose any sales over it, doubt they'll bad an eyelid.

As soon as it hits the road it's going to 'self destruct' anyway, the Chinese can copy just about anything ... except build quality and reliabilty!!

I think you'll find there's currently a world wide issue which has been going on for nearly a year now, and is still performing well
