Default Front Brake caliper leaking fluid

I think the seals on the pistons are gone on one caliper, it is leaking a lot of fluid to the extent that there is basically none left in the reservoir.

Need to sort this before the AR.

It is either the pistons or the line. Anything else it could be?

Also I'm looking at pistons and seals on wemoto, would you recommend Suzuki or would I be ok with pattern parts?

The pads are probably saturated so I take it they'll need to go?

Help please, don't want to miss the AR...

Is it obvious where its leaking from?

Pattern parts from wemoto will be fine, I've used them many times with no problems.

The last leaky caliper I had was down to the copper washers on the banjo bolt

It is not the banjo or the line, beyond that I 'm not 100% sure where on the caliper it can leak from.

Which would be more advisable out of the following in your opinion?

Cheers for any and all assistance.

I'll try to get a photo up shortly

If it's not leaking from the banjo then it can only be the piston seals. You can use a blowtorch to burn the dot fluid out of the pads but it is recommended to buy new ones. Since you're pulling the caliper apart anyway it's a good excuse to clean them up and give them a refresh.

Edit:
And I've used pattern seals in the last set of calipers I rebuilt and so far no problems. You won't need new pistons unless the originals are scored (highly unlikely) so just got for new main and dust seals.

As murley says if its not the banjo or line then its got to be the piston seal. Get the caliper off and have a good look at it.
As for what to order, that depends on what you find when you inspect the caliper

what about the bleed nipple. I had a problem with mine a few weeks ago and found out this was the reason. Changed nipples and job done.

if the piston is weeping then it's go passed both seals, this is normally down to either very poor maintenance or badly scratched pistons, dependent on severity a strip clean and libreal application of RRG can minimize for a while, but really once the damage is done, replacement is the only solution.
