Carb service (not SV650) Who/where?
Hi,
bike in question is a 1992 Yamaha xj600 anyone got any recommendations on where I can get a set of carbs serviced for the xj600. Happy to take them off the bike and send them just don't really have the time (or skill) just now to do the work myself. Not fussed on the carbs appearance as long as they work. I suspect the float valves will also need replaced as it feels like the bike I bogging down and I suspect its due to overfuelling once it reaches a few thousand revs. Based in Aberdeen but happy to post. |

Re: Carb service (not SV650) Who/where?
If you just need someone to check them over, give em a clean, blow out the jets, set the float height etc then any half-decent local bike mechanic will sort that out for you. Nowt terribly exotic to do there.
If you take them off yourself you'll save a load of labour so should be a relatively cheap job I'd have thought. |
