Just want to say thanks to the four lads who thought it was acceptable to be chatting very loudly from midnight to 4:14am when the rest of the campsite had gone completely silent and gone to sleep. Also keeping your engine running was great also. F-ing a-holes.

Time to start your engines right by their tent, and rev it too the limiter

People were doing that last night, engine revved near us and then someone down the other end replying. But that was 8pm.

Morning two of owning a dog and I'm knackered. My sofa isn't very comfortable.

This is pretty much my experience of the Travelodge at Preston Park, Brighton, last night. Utterly exhausted after helping The Monkey move house (see the Smile thread) I zonked out as soon as we turned in only to be woken at 2:30 am by a large group of pizzed up wonkers just back from their lads birthday weekend. Despite earplugs (always carry them on hotel stays) I could not get back to sleep. Felt so ill this morning as a consequence. Thankfully Lady Poppy wasn't feeling quite as bad and did the drive back.

Sounds like your morons went to the same How to be a Selfish Git course as mine Kenzie, so I have every sympathy for you. It's like people have forgotten how to be civil or behave themselves.

I would have liked to have told them to stfu, but dealing with half drunk k-nobs is a bit risky.

Just had to do a Covid19 Lateral Flow Test as one of my daughters has just this evening tested positive, and I was with her on Thursday. Deeply unpleasant procedure. Looks like a negative result but I need to wait the full 30 minutes.

Fortunately I and both of my girls are double jabbed.
