Fork Springs
are the Fork springs the same in the old bike as the new bike??? I called WP again today and they told me the springs that I had ordered last month had eventually come in, and then mentioned they were for the new shape bike...
Sadly I own the old shape will the springs be ok???

What a F*cking great company, I was told I'd get the fork springs in 3 days, now over a month and a Half later they get me the wrong f*cking springs!!!
Argh, you'd think WP would be a quality company, or is it just their importers that are crap...

There's always Maxton (from Maxton), progressive (from Busters) and Ohlins (from Harris) - all no more than 24 hours away if they post them.

He wanted WP because they're more exclusive I think Personally I suspect that the reaosn they're relatively unusual on the SV is that most dealers got sick of dealing with them
Whereas I chose Ohlins purely so they matched the rear. If I buy a steering damper, it'll have to be Ohlins as well It occurred to me that most people buy their springs without giving any actual thought to spring rate, I know I did... As it turns out mine are a good rate for an 11 stone weakling but that was pure luck.
