KPH convert to MPH
My Son serves in the REME in Germany and has bought a new SV650S over there. He is being posted back to blighty soon and I wonder if any of you experts can advise on getting his clock to MPH from KPH I know that on the UK model the conversion is built in and is just a case of pushing a couple of buttons but the continental model does not have this facility. Any suggestions Lol

Have you actually tried? On the UK models you select the 'Odometer' display with the left button, then press the right button for 2 secs to cycle between miles/MPH and Kms/KPH. I would have thought that a bike bought in an EU country ought to be usable in the UK as well as continental europe?

On mine I got a Canadian SVS which was in KMh. It had a litle black box so it kept the clocks but was speed was now in mph - 40kmh was now 40mph - the box intercepts the pulses from the sensor and delayed them.
can't remember the name tho. ste

I've got an inline converter I use before changing the clocks to UK one.
It's for a K2, and worked well. I think they are about £45 or so. if anyone wants it, make me an offer should fit the newer one, if not, it's only three wires so you could solder it in place. Cheers Mark.
