M.O.T. in Birmingham?
Hello all,
The time has come to get my 2001 SVS MOT'd. It's already done a couple and I expect it to fly through this one, but I only bought it in June and I've never had to get one done myself. So, A) Can anyone recommend a decent garage in / around Brum to get it done? B) Assuming no work needed doing, how much should I expect to pay for it? Any help or advice here would be appreciated. I also need to get the 4k service done (yep, 4k, previous owner didn't ride it much!), should I get this done before, after or at the same time as the MOT? Any recommenations for garages to do this too would be great. And I'm not great at all with a spanner so I'd like to get a garage to do it I think. Plus, seeing as its now five years old I think it would be better to have a trained eye look over it! Cheers for any replies, Matt |

Thanks kwak, I might as well give them a try, as I said, I don't really know where else to take it at the mo!
Just realised, upon returning home this eve, that my MOT actually ran out on 3rd September Good job I haven't taken it out since then! They still have that rule where you are allowed to ride / drive an un-MOT'd vehicle to a test station don't they? Thanks again, Matt EDIT: Kwak - have you ever used these for a service? Any thoughts on before or after the MOT? Cheers |
