Default SP Engineering exhaust?

Afternoon

I've been looking at an SP Engineering exhaust for my K9 Sport. Has anyone had any experience with these? I have been told that they are not BS or E marked but nor do they have the 'not for road use' markings. They also apparently are below the db threshold for MOT with the baffle in. I'm a little wary of going ahead with the purchase though.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Spoke to a chap there and he said that they are usually fine on MOT as the BS and E mark is no longer quite as relevant but could be a problem if stopped by police. Something about construction and use regs.

May play it a little safer and go for scorpion extreme.

Ive got one. Mine seems well built and after 9000 miles it looks new,and the sound gets better with age. at first it sounds harsh and barks, after a while though it settles down and sounds smoother but is still harsh for the fact its stubby. Gives a lovely pop on the over run aswell. My service guy said hed have no problem passing it at mot time, but it is loud. HTH

If you're concerned buy a BSAU exhaust plate from Ebay and stick it on.
