Warning both the wikipedia links will contain spoilers...

Brick

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brick_(film)

OK its weird, it doesnt make a whole heap of sense the first time you watch it, but I really like it

This is also a very good film

The Ice Storm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ice_Storm_(film)

Again its a bit weird and a bit slow paced, takes a bit of time to get into but again I really like it.

Yet on the way out as I was about to give my verdict evrybody said it was absolute ****?? However 1 was my girlfriend - 1 my sister and it is probably more of a bloke film - as for my brother in law under the thumb good film though.

Try apocalypto - bit different
