Is that the crash one? I was video'ing that, clutch springs broke and put an end to my evenings fun
Not many places you can ride them. Luckily this was an un-opened carpark (Asda in Gravesend). Closes at 4pm on a sunday, so we used to setup a track. USed to get a few others turn up, they didn't like th fact the track was full of corners Pah, what fun is i to go just in a straight line at 30mph.... |

I'm going minimoto-ing on Saturday for my brother's birthday. Might see if I can get some vids taken.
I've been toying with the idea of buying my own bike and entering in a bit of regular competition cos I enjoyed it that much. |

Go for a Blata/Polini/GRC and pay over £500. But those bikes will last, not really break, won't ahve to keep changing clutch springs etc.. Mines one of those chinky imports. Very poorly made, but just as quick as the Blatas (we tested them If you just want to blat around for a laugh, go for a chinky one. If you want to get into it properly, go for a proper named one. Water cooled and air cooled, you can get nitrous on them, rev counters (up to about 13,000rpm), twin disc brake setups etc.. Mad. Go on ebay and type mini moto, there will be about 50 pages lol. I got mine before the massive trend started and only paid £190. Friends paid £260. I've been through loads of clutch springgs (£5 for 3, wooooo), 1 exhaust (£25) where the bracket snapped, and errr, petrol n oil. My grand total still is only about £250 and they have been used for hours and hours and hours.. |
