Re: M.P.G
Winter commute (9 miles each way) with couple minutes on choke each way to warm up before riding, around 40mpg ave. Warmer weather with a few 'long way home' commutes, closer to 50mpg. Grey import so clock is in km, but around 160km to 200km before flashing (filled up on side stand, not upright). And having just re-read my post, I realise I am a boring man. Off trainspotting now....

Re: M.P.G
I've had mixed mpg on a pointy. Best was 190+ to a tank driving up the A1 at 65mph to croft and back. I could get 110 easily too when tagging it.
I got 168 miles out of my 600rr yesterday on the way back from nwr6, amazingly chugged with that I could easily eek more out of it as 30 miles were done the previous day which were not so light wristed, the petrol light hadn't come on and I have only used 15litres.

Re: M.P.G
Been getting odd results with my MPG on my curvy, taking the motorway to and fro work = 54 MPG constantly all week, week in week out. Last week I took the backroads to and fro work for a couple of days and my MPG went up to 57.8! I wasnt pootling, and there was some overtaking! On the Motorway im very sedate and often just cruise at 70, so not sure what im doing wrong... Will post up my MPG today after my 120 mile round trip on friday + my ride to work this morning am hoping to break the 60 barrier!

Re: M.P.G
Little update - I managed not 60, not 61 but yes, sixty two MPG on my 140 mile round trip! and thats with 2 up (+ 10 kilos ish of luggage) for 60 miles and 20 miles the following day! Mostly motorway / dual carriageway miles with some single carriageway A roads thrown in. Wasnt licking it but not hanging about either =]
