Who says either is correct in first place? By your logic suzuki knows best.

Gentlemen, gentlemen, keep your calm.

I've been looking for a way to put the rear of my K3 bike a little heigher, since the front went up considerably after installing progressive forksprings. I don't wanna mess with shorter dogbones. The 06-07 kawi shock is about 8mm longer than oem. Does anybody have an idea to how many tail-end lifting cm's this xlates?

No but don't worry about it, stock is 330mm, 340mm is about where you want to be.

Yes the ZZR1400 shock is the same from 2006 to 2009, but it does have quite a high spring rate as mentioned previously.

If the new shock is longer than standard, be careful setting chain sag. It should be the same when the front sprocket, swing arm pivot and rear sprocket are in line. That means more sag when spring is extended. I have a Nitron shock which is 5mm longer, so I have to set the chain sag at least 5mm more than standard. I am sure others will be able to advise you better than I can; ask around.
