hi, i find the faring on the s so much more comfortable on long journeys, and no neck ache which i used to get with a naked. the pegs are slightly higher but not really enough to make much difference, im 6' and have no probs.
if your using it for long runs or mway work then go for the s model, but if its just for town riding then its purely down to looks! nice avatar by the way!!! dan either way you should get a blue one coz they're fastest!!! |

the gearing is slightly changed on the s and the footpegs moved slightly via a different hanger i believe
but still not uncomfortable far from it |

Depends what sort of riding you do, town stuff take the unfaired, if you like a good blast, and I kind of like the full fairing look of a sports bike.
It's your choice, good luck what ever. Cracking avtar. |

if you want the 'street fighter' look (i believe that's what the phrase is), there are some really nice naked's on this site with bits on. how ever if you're after a sportyish tourer, the SVs with lowers is porno.
Of course it has to be blue to copy the other bloke, it really is a splendid avatar. it's commendable! |

by the way, i'm 6ft4 & although I hunt for the pegs a bit when i set off, the riding position is fine, in fact i like the feeling of being really over the top of the bike, without lying across the tank with your nose on the speedo.

I think it depend a lot on how you like to ride and how flexible you are in the arms, back, neck. If most of your riding is at higher speeds and you are young and flexible the S is probaly the way to go. If you spend most of your time at speeds below the national speed limit and also if you like a more upright riding position the naked model is great.
I ride quite a lot in town and the more upright position on my naked bike gives a great view through the traffic. |

Go for the naked, put on Renthal bars and ride with a little attitude! If you're a wuss get the S model (runs for cover!).
Talking about naked, although your Avatar is without doubt showing a healthy personal fitness exercise it's been used in the past and has been objected to by several of the female members... Just thought you'd like to know. . |
