Default Trading sv650 for sv650 sport??

l have a k6 naked sv650! and now im using it for longer journeys l was thinking of trading it for a sport! the trouble is ive never owned a faired bike and im not sure how good the screen would be a deflecting the wind and the bufferting???? nobody seems to have a demo bike! if the fairing does'nt make much differance then i'll just keep mine! still tempted even if not because George White offered me a great part x deal ! thanks

I own a faired 650 and there is much more protection than my unfaired Bandit. And you can fit a double bubble screen, which i believe gives even more protection

A faired bike is the way to go if you are doing alot of motorway or high speed commuting. The standard screen on the SVS is pretty good IMHO, but if you fit a double bubble one its even better.

You might find the riding position needs a bit of getting used to, but it is very comfortable IMHO.

If you lived closer to me, you'd be welcome to borrow my bike for a short ride. But you don't.

The fairing (even on an S, not the full fairing of a "Sport") makes quite a difference. I recently removed the screen from my K6S, and holding on at three figure speeds (private road officer!!) whilst sitting upright was a bit of a challenge.

p.s that way you won't lose money on the trade, and I've heard the naked is an insurance group below the S.

Corbin seats... lovely.

1200 ish miles over the weekend and not a bit of discomfort.

How long have you been doing the distance for though, you soon get used to the wind.
