Default Curvy - Sprocket change

So as my 2000 curvy was making some weird noise from the front sprocket and coupled with the chain being knackered at the weekend it was sprocket change time.

I had a feeling it was pretty shot but didn`t expect this:

Talk about fubard, the replacement was a Renthal 14 tooth and I reckon they were the same size (the one in the pic isn`t it) so no real noticeable improvement, but I can`t help thinking the chain could and would have come off at any time and it doesn`t bear thinking about.

Anyhows new front and rear sprockets and a nice new gold did xring chain and all is well.

And thereby warrants everyone to check behind the sprocket cover on a regular basis.
