Default Regulator-rectifier replacement? Curvy

Long time learner, first time poster so please be gentle

I have a 2002 curvy with a fried r/r. People on here say the r/r can be replaced with a gsxr one. I have taken mine off and the wiring is a single 5 wire plug and not a standard double sv plug. The markings say "RS41 33C1" (appears to be for a gsxr) The image is from mine.
My question is, which model of gsxr will be compatible and if I find a r/r with the same plug will the wiring be the same........

I am already grateful for your answers.

The gsxr ones are prone to being iffy
I'd go get an electex world reg rec as it's the permanent fix. It's 90 quid but worth it

Thanks for the replies, I've just had a look at the electex world r/r and it has a different plug to mine. Is there any form of wiring diagram if I have to change the plug.

As above Electrix World.

Bought a straight replacement for my 2000 curvy, thought about a different bike one but came to the conclusion one of theirs would save a mass of potential aggro, it works fine just needed longer screws to attach it to the bike as the design is a deeper (thicker) body to allow more airflow over the fins therefore keeping it cooler.

Got it on their Ebay store as it was cheaper than their website for some reason.

The plug on mine was identical just plug and play, you sure yours isn`t?

Citizen, My plug is a single plug on a 2002 curvy. The manual shows a twin plug as does elextrix world...
Gonna give them a call and see what they say. Thanks.

Looks like the previous owner has already swapped the reg rec and the plug has been changed on the bike.

For the OP to go back to the SV unit he would need to buy the SV connectors.

From the Electrex site, this would do the job and might work out cheaper than changing connectors - not currently in stock unfortunately.

That's the OE single plug for the 2002 SV650.

The SV650 up to 2001 is a twin plug arrangement but the last of the Curvy ie 2002 has a single plug.

Well I've just ordered one from a small company in Essex who had stock. Checking the bike, the wiring loom is original so that makes 21Quest correct (I take my hat to you sir). Everyone's help is as always invaluable. I shall see how the new part works........
