Thumbs up Salvation Army Toy Run

I just found this on another web site and thought i would put it on here in case anyone is interested in it.

It's for a good cause and i for one will be attending

Anyone else fancy it ????

The annual Salvation Army Toy Run will take place again on the 7th November commencing from the Showcase Cinema Hyde Road (M12 5AL) and terminating at the Trafford Centre. There will be a breakfast from 9:00 am with assembly at 11:00 am and leave at 11:05 am. A presentation of toys and a short carol service will take place at the Trafford Centre on arrival. All the toys donated are used to help brighten up the Christmas of needy children across the North West. Donations are used to buy new gifts for childern who might otherwise not receive a toy this year.

I do the toy run every year here in london and no matter how cold or nasty it is on the day its one of the most heart warming and rewarding things i do on my bike.

Not only do we get a full police escort thru all red lights from one hospital to the other but i'm surrounded by big hearted bikers who all do it for the same reason.... it makes you feel oh so good inside.

good for you guys, we all have to meet up at the Ace and queue for fekin ages to get served and pay their over inflated costs for it too. But hey thats just the Ace for ya i guess and takes nothing away from the day for me.

A free brekkie would be lovely tho, lol.

Toy runs are fantastic. They really make Christmas special for Pete and myself. We look forward to doing them all year.
