Default A reminder of summer.

Just a little reminder of what a warm summer evening looks like. Soon, soon.....

It certainly is. I love sitting up on the veranda area of Davey Jones Locker with a mug of tea on a sunny day, with the bike parked opposite, looking at the view of the harbour and the mountains, and watching the world go by.

Right that's it. I'm going to climb into a large, straw filled cardboard box, pull the lid shut, and set the alarm clock for April!

Might have to try and get out there. My problem is, I love the road from Betws-y-Coed down through Blaenau to Porthmadog / Criccieth too much, I can't resist going that way if I've got the time

Another one of the summer. There's a brilliant piece of road here, with a lovely series of quick bends above the sea and hugging the side of the mountain. Who can tell me where it is? Should be easy enough if you look....

There's a cracking loop I do to take it in.
Start at Llanfair Caereinion>Mallwyd>Aberangell>Aberllefenni>Corris> Pantperthog>
Aberdyfi>Tywyn>Fairbourne>(over the railway bridge to)Abermaw(and tea at Davy Jones Locker)>Dolgellau>Cross Foxes>Mallwyd and then home.

When you get to Y Bermo, after your tea you have the option of extending the ride by heading up the coast to Harlech and on into either Penllyn or Snowdonia.

Roll on summer!
