Default Hello SV people

Greetings SV people. My name is(n't really, but, you know; internets) Samp, and I come before you having just put a deposit on a knackered old curvy I intend to ride to work.

When I was young and saucy I rode fast, then my garage fell down and my insurance went up and I sold my race-suit.

Now, many years later, and (thanks to powers beyond my control) earning what I used to twenty years ago, I feel I am starting biking properly. Not for expensive thrills, but for cheap transport and free parking, and the pure simple joy of riding.

I was planning to get a CB500, for the cheapest most practical A to B, but I pushed the budget a little further to get something I might enjoy a little more.

Call it a mid-life crisis if you will, but with my drinking that should have started 10 years ago.

Anyway, I pick up my scarred, imperfect, mature nekked sv this weekend, and I can honestly say I am more exited than I was when I casually bought a brand new sports bike 14 years ago.

Apart from adjusting to how awesome I will become, is there anything I need to know about old, naked sv's?

Also; yay, motorcycles!

Welcome mate! Curvy SVs are work horses. Just whip it in the right place and keep your heels down and you'll be fine!
