Default Stumpy levers.

OK second question of the night, I want stumpy leavers for the SV as standard are far too long. Can I use any other ones as I can only find clutch leaver on various sites or ones for GSX,GSF, and SV1000's

Hate long ones and need something a bit shorter.

Cheapest option is to do what I did, cut them off at the length you want with a hacksaw and then get the little balls on the end welded back on. I got both mine done for a tenner at a local welding firm, after a little cleaning up with a fine file and emery paper they looked original, only shorter!

Why bother with the balls on the end?

Its illegal to run without the balls to protect someone if you were to clip them from sharp jagged pointyness.

just say they're still stuck in their body and send them bill for new lever 'cos they were in the way.

I thought it was MOT thing if your tester is a c*ck. What are chances any copper on side of road knows or cares?

Just something else to write on the VRN next to the loud can issues and whatever else if someones wound you up then?

Is that one still applicable with handguards fitted? I have a feeling it is despite the complete feckwittery of that.
