Default valves

has anyone heard of an sv650s (pointy k4)
having valve problems after 5000 miles just taken mine in for a service and went to pick it up and it didnt run they now think its the vavles and the throttle bodies where out of sync.

Define "problem with the valves" The throttle bodies being out of sync is a 5 minute job to fix and any competant mechanic shouldn't be worrying about it. If the valve clearances are out (Very Unusual, but not impossible in such a young engine) this is a bit more involved to sort, but again is covered under routine (if fairly advanced) maintainance..

If the valves have been crushed into the top of the pistons you'll be looking on ebay for a new motor....

valve timing off will fook it up as it would involve impacting the pistons!
cant see why it would happen unless the cams been fiddled with?! i think?
guess i is stumped too!

they think valves could be out of sync??? valves can't go out of sync... you would have to reposition cam lobes, valve timing could be off if a timing chain slipped a tooth, that might likely mash valves into pistons, anyway it's not something you can fix with a syncronization

either you misunderstood what they told you, or they are feeding you a bunch of horse sheet

no the throttle bodies one was out if sync and the bike wouldnt even idle u could heard the egine soundeds ****ed still under waranty though

How long have you had it If it is less that 24 calendar months, get in touch with Suzuki NOW!
