Well Saltire Suzuki (Edinburgh, used to be Alvins) have just phoned me to say they are replacing the full fork assembly, the lower yoke and the engine cover under warranty.

Result! Well done Saltire and well done Suzuki!

Now off to buy a can of ACF50 to protect my new forks!

My forks were the same... dammit its a little late now!

what is the length of the corrosion warranty on SV's I know on cars they are often 7 years

Don't know, could never find an answer to that one. I'm within the 2 year normal warranty anyway.

hmmmm may ride mine more during the winter if I havnt got this to worry about, I have another year and 1 month to go on my warranty.

Will ride it all winter and get them changed at the end of next summer if they go funny.
