I find the 2CT great in the wet, these will be like dry road grip! Good weather this weekend, with some changeable weather. Let us know how you get on with them |

Probably won't get them on the bike until early next week. I'm waiting on some super sweet angled valve stems on mail order. I'll be sure to report back here once they're on though

Ordered mine last night, will feedback once they arrive
Q. I'm putting mine on an SV650SK6 and I weigh in at about 150lbs + riding gear, what pressures would you guys recommend? Btw, I ride solo mainly and they'll be used primarily for spirited recreational riding plus 3 or 4 tracks days in spring/summer.

33f 36r and adjust from that base would be my advice from memory of my pointy. Keep adjustments small and note how the bike feels when you make changes.
The tyre guy and the track will advise you on what to run when you're there depending on temp/conditions etc. Last edited by dkid; 19-02-14 at 09:26 PM. |

Re: Tyreleader - Anyone used them?
Got delivery of PP3s today, which is pretty awesome since I ordered them late in the evening on the 16th. Just unwrapped them and found the date of manufacture; 2713 and 4512!
Should I be concerned? 4512 = 66 weeks old, 2713 = 32 weeks old.

Tyreleader - Anyone used them?
Michelin reckon 5 years is time to change a tyre regardless of condition by the looks of it...
http://moto.michelin.co.uk/advice/bu...hange-my-tyres Although brand new is obviously desirable, Personally I'd not be overly concerned by the fact they've been in a warehouse for a few months. They've not seen use or weather and they're not YEARS old... Edit, link fixed Last edited by dkid; 06-03-14 at 06:47 PM. |
