Default Wales rideout - Saturday 19th January

Right guys lets kick off this year as we mean to go on me and Christopher will be taking a relaxed bimble round North Wales on the 19th (route to be decided but will probably include an ice cream stop in Beddgelert - its the done thing in January)

All are welcome put your name down if interested and we'll sort a meet point

I may be up for this, depending on weather and work. Let me know when you have a route sorted and I could meet up somewhere here in Wales.
Although I suspect my first stop is going to be breakfast at Davy Jones Locker in Barmouth

I fear we are being lulled by recent relativly high temperatures.
Current long range foreacst for 19th suggests it will be 1C only.

I always like this little loop, decent mileage for this time of year too with the lack of daylight.

So if we say Ruthin as the start point, we can fuel up the bikes and fuel up ourselves at the cafe nearby. Chris could maybe pick up any stragglers at Chester and lead them to Ruthin if they're not sure how to get there?

Gary if that takes your fancy is there anywhere you want to meet up enroute?

Pffft I don't believe it 2 days in advance, let alone 2 weeks! Just pack a jumper you'll be fine

How about if I meet you in Frongoch (point B)? What time are you expecting to get there?

Sounds good. If we say meet at Ruthin for 10:30 to be leaving for 11:00, I reckon on 11:30 at Frongoch. Beddgelert and ice cream by 12:30
