Cheap android tablet
As per title, I'm after a cheap android tablet for my sons 13th birthday. I have bought an archos arnova 7bg3. Trouble is as it isn't yet google certified so the android market isnt available on it, it has their own version called applibs but the games and parental control apps are not available thru it and short of 'hacking' a brand new tablet I'm stuck. Can anyone recommend an out the box tab 7inches for less than £100?

The Archos tablets are meant to be pretty good actually and I've heard pretty good reviews on the blackberry tablets.
It's hard finding a good one for cheap now a days but if you have a look at the CEX website they have a few on I bought a few gadgets from there in really good condition and for pretty cheap. They may even have a store located near you. |

Re: Cheap android tablet
I posted a similar thread last month looking for my sons tenth birthday.
I ended up spending more (£170 but I had a £110 argos voucher from Mazuma Mobile)) and getting the Archos 80 G9 because the it is the cheapest with Android Market. He wanted to play the games that I play and in the end I decided if I bought him a cheaper one without it then it would be false economy because he wouldnt get the use out of it. Hes had it three weeks and not put it down |

Re: Cheap android tablet
i have an 8" onda vi30 ultimate ( thinner and better than the other vi30 models ) cost me £120 and is absolutely amazing for the price, solid build quick on the wifi and works as should, i am very very impressed with it and the battery lasts about 5 hours of buggering about with it.
Also my model has the better higher res screen which is very very good. They do 7" and 10" models aswell. |
