Sheffield! (and there abouts) what's happening?

Alright pennine massivers,
Just wondering if we have any regular ride outs in the sheffield area? I'm 18 and just got my first sv and I really need to make best use of it before the snow and ice sets in. Cold and rain I can just about handle!

Wrong time of year, I'm out riding with Suzuki Owners Club tomorrow, were going to Rivington Barn for 11, then onto Southport.

Would be a 150 miles round trip for you though, maybe a little more.

I'm doing next weekends catherine wheel run from the Rotherham side of the M1, so you're welcome to ride up with me if you fancy it

Never been to the Catherine Wheel Run, I have no real idea what its about either, I mean where too, where from, and what we do when we get there?

You're building it up far beyond what it actually is... its a meetup and ride around a set route, stopping to talk carp at either end (and probably in the middle too)

No specific purpose, except that its supposedly the "end of season" when all the people who don't have decent cold weather gear put their bikes away

Perfect, I'm a keen Carp Fisherman, can talk CARP all day or was that a typo?

Im in Barnsley often so not too far from you. I know a couple of ok runs we could do I think
