Another wet summer on the cards perhaps?, the midlands/sheffield/derby/sorrounding areas were hit very hard last year, never seen anything like it.

I'm lucky I live on top of a hill up norf. Didn't mean my gardens weren't just mud all summer last year. not even going to bother making it look nice this year, as money just went down the drain, literally last year. I know my best mates mum lives in Hull, and she got flooded last year. Being a pensioner it just made her life miserable.

I know we've had a nice couple of weeks lately in the sunshine, but this miserable weather for a few days and the doom and gloom of the current financial climate of this country just makes everything look just poooooooo.

Its been blown as per normal out of all proportion by the media

I live about 10 miles from Crewkerne, Yesterday in Yeovil it lashed it down for about 3 hrs and we've had no rain since, Its been dry, sunny and warm here today.

Liz got home from work fine yesterday, a few of my colleagues got delayed on the way home, but TBH I dont get what the fuss is all about !!

I live in a MASSIVE hole in the ground, if the drains bloack we are screwed and the quarry will fill up. They have just started building on the attenuation pond aswell, so the water has even less place to go now.

The weather has followed last year nearly identically so far.

Stupidly hot couple of weeks in spring.....the DOOM

Hopefully we will get a nice summer though.

I can't understand how people drown in these little rainshowers. It took 10 hours to get to waist level last time - how slow do you need to be!

You're going to AR08 in Somerset the week after Glastonbury.

Of course it'll be flooded.
