Iv'e done a search and read quite a bit about fork swaps but have not found an answer to my question which is simply can i fit srad 600 rwu fork internals into my K3 lowers? Any advice appreciated .

Re: Srad forks
Yes you can do it, no you can't "simply" do it.

Re: Srad forks
Cheers mate....enlighten me please as to why not simply? Is it a big job? Iv'e stripped the forks and done the seals but the left one just keeps ripping the new seal due to pitting in the fork travel area. Thought about a new stanchion but i would rather replace with better internals.

Re: Srad forks
Well that bit isn't really "internal" for a start
And the SRAD ones are a good few mm fatter than the SV ones! Just use entire SRAD front end

Re: Srad forks
When i did the seals i gave them a full internal and took everything out cleaned it all and put them back together with fresh oil. If i fit the srad front end do i basically need everything off the srad...wheel,mudguard,top/bottom yokes, calipers and clip-ons? and what about the speedo pick-up does that have to be done from the back wheel?

Re: Srad forks
Yes everything. Think you can use VTR clipons or custom ones if you want higher.

Re: SRAD fork internals in Pointy forks?
How about putting in zzr600e internals? Is it just a case of taking everything out of the forks and putting it in the sv lowers or does anything need to be machined or cut down?

Re: SRAD fork internals in Pointy forks?
Is this a game of name random bike front ends and see if YC is enough of a sad tw*t to know how to frankenstein them into an SV? (No smarmy comments please, I have long since resigned myself to the answer to this question...)
Not sure about ZZR600E, thought they had 43mm fork.
