Unemployed?
Me too. Left the RAF after serving my contract, and can't find anything else. Can't even get a part time job at a supermarket
Anyone else on here in a similar situation? |

Where in the country are you?
I was in the RAF for 14 years and have been working for Serco since 97 at RAF Northolt. Would you consider going back to a military base as a civvy? Your past could put you well above others if you did. |

What Trade were you? How long were you in and how long have you been out?
BAEs is a big employer in the Lincoln area.

couple of months left to serve in the Army, then i expect to be in the same situation. Best of luck looking for a job. Lots of FTRS contracts comming up, worth a look

unlikley the first trance of redundencies that were selected were announced only in September. These two seemed to have signed off.
Madness IMO. Im in the Army and given how it is outside, im staying put unless i am forced out under redundency. I have only 8 yrs to go and the pension is not worth loosing. |
