No run today but I managed a very nice 6 miles of lanes and trails on the mountain bike instead.

Hills, lanes, and trails

Ha ha, I know! In my defence, I'm running with a canix group this evening. It looks like there will be half a dozen of us and dogs, with members of Canicross Clwyd and Canicross Powys running together. Should be good fun.

Got back home this afternoon. I had hoped to run tonight after a total lack of running whilst away. However I'm shattered. Maybe tomorrow after work.

Cracking run out around Llanymynech rocks this evening. Just 5k, but some stunning views and great company. Got back to the cars just as it was getting dark.

Haven't uploaded the Garmin stuff yet, I'll add a link here when I do.

**Edit**

This evening's run

Well today was my Nuclear Race, 10k in just under 2 hours. 60 obstacles. And a LOT of mud. Pictures added to Strava as it's easier than here. Might try when back at work. It's a manual entry as I was unable to take my phone. Truly knackered now.

Ha ha! Brave man, well done. I'll head over to Strava for a look at the pictures.

I was meant to go to Erddig for parkrun this morning but failed to make it out of bed in time Out on the MtB first thing tomorrow morning though for a few miles with a fellow Powys Canicrosser and her dogs. I'll be taking Mabel with me too, and we'll just let the dogs run free.

Need to pick up the running routine again next week; had a lot on my mind lately and it's made it hard to get going even though I know running would help.

Shall certainly be doing parkrun next Saturday as I've promised to take a friend for her first parkrun now she's finished her couch25k.

Yeah what with hurting my back last month and going on holiday I only got out for two runs in August. Dismal effort. Now the temperature has dropped a little I plan to ramp the training back up. Maybe even a few weights too. As getting over an 8 foot wall was a git.

Here's the official finish photo. I'm the muddy one, my brother in-law is less so.

He he, great picture. That looks like it was, er...muddy! Well done both of you.

Got out for a short run this morning, 3.5 miles over the allt and through the forest. Followed it up with a bicycle ride to the doctors for an appointment (my regular blood test). 14 mile round trip and some pretty brutal long, steep climbs. Feeling fairly well exercised now!
