I've got an allotment!
At last! After searching for years, we have finally been offered a plot on a really good site. It's about 15 meters square, there's a secure (Steel site office) office, kitchen, loo and tool storage unit. Water on site.
The plot is clear and clean, the last tennant decided to leave it after doing the groundwork! I'm plannning fruit trees like apricots and nectarine as it's south facing with a wall near the north edge which really warms the air. Hops will be going in too, saves me some cash on the ol' home brew! Looking forward to it, the kids want to go digging this weekend, so I suppose we will. Not bike related, but hey! I'm happy and I thought I'd share. Pete PS, Whoop and indeed, Yay!

Re: I've got an allotment!
Be warned - allotment committees are fascists. I know from bitter experience.....

Sarah, the chickens are beautiful! No eggs yet, but they were young when they came home. Left to right; Pluck, my Welsummer. Argent, Meg's Silver Laced Wyandotte Bantam. Shadow, Jack's Rhode Island Red and finally, Val's bird, Marge the Buff Orpington. Pete

Can you grow me some foam?
Congrats, I presume a few chilli seeds will be touching the soil too? |

Re: I've got an allotment!
Best year ever. We smoked two kilos of Padron a few weeks ago, there are hundreds nearly ready which will be pickled, made into hot chilli marmalade and sauces.
