Nice one R1!

I always give my bikes slightly alternative womens names, except for my last Bandit 650 which was a Garry through and through

Should have fitted the new exhaust today but the link pipe ain't arriving till monday. So far the front forks feel ok but I usually end up stiffening the preload front and back for that tighter feel, and to accommodate my aging mass

A small update on the bike.

Its brilliant! Tail tidy's on, Delkevic exhaust is on (found a link pipe online for £35 as apposed to Delk's offer of £70+ postage for their link pipe!) Fitted a new set of Tarozzi High rise clipons which take away from the Cafe look but give the desired result of a wider and higher bar position without having to re-rout or replace any of the OEM brake lines or cables.

The result is next level! The steering is light and responsive giving you heaps of confidence to chuck the thing about, couple that with the awesome exhaust and engine noise and the insane amount of grip.

I've had a number of other bikes from 650 - 1200 Bandits, CBRs and even a 2017 T120 on a 2 month loan and I can honestly say that this 2019 SV650 is easily the best all rounder and possibly the most fun I've had on a bike. Especially when you factor in the price and running cost, it really is up there in my opinion.

All it needs now is a front fender extender, maybe a radiator guard and a pair of nice bright DRL up front - and some fuel of course .

Looks great - I do like the styling of the X models. The Delkevic can really suits it. I'm in the minority that doesn't actually mind the look of the standard can, but I found a used Yoshi can that was too cheap to miss.

Standard can sounds nice and if you spray the silver heatshield Matt black it looks a lot better..
