Does anyone know of a good powder coating company near the Basingstoke/Reading/Aldershot area? Regards, Si |

Re: Powder Coating
Well i rang Aurora Powder Coating in Aldershot and here's what prices they quoted me;
Wheels - £25 each including bead blasting Frame + Swingarm + 'a few bits n bobs' - £120 including bread blasting Pretty reasonable i think if the finish is good, i'll post some pics up when i get it all done in a week or so! Si P.S Thats for black, dunno if other colours are more/less expensive... |

Re: Powder Coating
That's half the price of what my wheels cost to get done!
If they have some sample stock and it's good quality, then the price is pretty fair I'd say. |

Re: Powder Coating
It's usually recommended to go to a powdercoater that does a lot of bike work, since they're much less likely to mess up the masking. You don't want coating on a face that needs bare metal, or in a thread or bolt hole. But you do pay more. Solid colours, ie gloss black or whatever, tend to be cheaper than metallics by the way.
