ive just bought a speedo sensor from egay when i got it it said i came off a tl1000 and does also fit a sv650 but im getting the speedo reading twice as fast now??? so have anyone got a sv650 speedo sensor for sale???? or know why its doing this the wires look the same i.e pink,black,orange

I have had the exact same problem.. I bought 2 from JHS both did same, I then bought a new one from suzuki at £68 and it worked no problems. Unfortunately I broke the little teeth of the sensor while fitting the wheel and thought "I'll use the part from 1 of the JHS sensors" it never worked....... dont know why but thats more than likely whats wrong.
All thats wrong is the little toothed insert in the sensor itself IMO. The part thats simple to break ![]() £12 from suzuki and its sorted.. if its a curvy though I might be wrong!!! |
